Covid situation ahead of important Crisis HQ session: 17 more patients die, 4,071 new cases

This is the latest cross-section of the situation regarding the coronavirus epidemic in Serbia

Coronavirus was confirmed in 4,071 more people in Serbia in the last 24 hours. During the same period of time, 17 more patients died from Covid.

15,774 people were tested.

There are 166 patients currently on ventilators.

New cases by city: Belgrade 1,302, Nis 243, Novi Sad 187, Kragujevac 161, Kraljevo 132, Vranje 93, Krusevac 82, Pancevo 72, Paracin 59, Subotica 56, Alekasinac 53, Arandjelovac 47, Novi Pazar 46, Backa Palanka 43, Uzice 42, Cuprija 41, Cacak 39, Jagodina 38, Smederevska Palanka 38, Bor 36, Valjevo 36, Zrenjanin 35, Leskovac 34, Stara Pazova 31, Trstenik 30.

The meeting of the Crisis HQ started at 3 pm. It will decide at whether anti-Covid measures will be tightened, while reintroducing a state of emergency will be also be discussed.
