A woman was seriously injured in a traffic accident that happened this morning in Belgrade's Dusanovac neighborhood.

The accident happened at around 10:20 am in Peke Pavlovica Street. A Fiat Punto hit a pedestrian and the injured person was transported to the Emergency Center, the Ministry of the Interior of Serbia has told Telegraf.
According to unofficial information, the driver of the car died at the wheel, before the vehicle hit the pedestrian.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman who was injured was left lying on the sidewalk with severe wounds, while one wheel flew off the car and stopped in the middle of the street.
