On the occasion of the Day of Serb Unity, Freedom and the National Flag, Serbian tricolors have been displayed on the boulevards in Budva and Becici, two coastal towns in Montenegro.

Citizens have been sharing photos of the Serbian flag on social networks this morning, along with messages of congratulations.

"Congratulations to all who celebrate," "Our wonderful Budva, congratulations to us all," "Happy Day of Serb Unity, Freedom and the National Flag," said some of the posts.

The municipality of Budva told Montenegrin media that they did not know who displayed the flags.

Today, Serbia and the Serb Republic are celebrating a joint holiday - the Day of Serb Unity, Freedom and the National Flag, chosen to mark the anniversary of the breakthrough of the Macedonian Front in 1918. The holiday has been celebrated since last year.
