Unusual theft in Belgrade: Man walks into antique store and steals figurine representing a policeman

Security cameras recorded an unusual theft in an antique store in Belgrade's Obilicev Venac area that happened on Monday evening.

The video shows a passer-by slowly sneaking into the store and then stealing a wooden figurine representing a police officer, while the owner was distracted.

"The antique store is four steps inside the building. We have two rooms, one is the gallery, and I repair items in the other. He stepped onto the second step and grabbed the policeman. He looked at me and saw that I was repairing a lamp and that I hadn't noticed anything, and then ran away with the figurine," the owner, D.S., told Telegraf.rs.

The case has been reported to the police.
