Deputy Prime Minister of the Provisional Institutions of Pristina Besnik Bislimi said today that the application for membership in the Council of Europe had been "harmonized with the friends of Kosovo," Reporteri writes.

During a meeting of the government, Bislimi assessed that membership in this organization will have a positive impact on the judiciary because citizens will have a "European instance to deal with their issues" which, according to him, will be in their best interest.

Bislimi said that the government will "work diligently" in this process, and he expects Pristina to receive support by the states that recognize so-called Kosovo, while those who do not recognize it will not hinder the process.
