A Serbian citizen was arrested in Thessaloniki, on suspicion of intentionally leaving two small children in a hot car.

The Serbian woman is suspected of putting her two children, aged 3 and 6, in the vehicle and leaving them there alone in hot weather, in order to clean the house in peace.
The neighbors noticed that the children were alone in the car for a long time and called the police.
Upon arrival at the scene, the children were pulled from the car and the mother was handcuffed.
Reports say that the Serbian woman told the police that she left the children locked in the car because she was disinfecting the house and "thought it would be safer for them to be in the car until the disinfection is over."
