Serbian National Assembly to hold constitutive session on Monday, August 1

Dacic has convened the first session of the new parliament

President of the Assembly of Serbia Ivica Dacic today convened the constitutive session of the new convocation for Monday, August 1, starting at 10 am.

The constitutive session is presided over by the oldest deputy who is assisted by the four youngest deputies, until a new president of the National Assembly is elected.

The oldest deputy in the new convocation is Vladeta Jankovic.

From the moment the National Assembly is constituted, a period of 90 days starts during which a new government must be formed.
