A previously unseen storm that hit the villages under Mt. Golija in the territory of the municipality of Ivanjica a few days ago left behind true devastation, and dozens of homes got completely cut off from the world.

The greatest damage was caused to road infrastructure with some access roads and bridges getting swept away. Immediately after the rain stopped, heavy road repairing machinery was deployed, and the priority is to once again make usable those roads leading to the cut off houses.

"We are currently working according to a dynamic plan. The machines did not get turned off neither on Saturday nor on Sunday. Now we are going from Catric to Munjici, and then we have to go to the Srednja Reka Municipality and Ostatji to carry out repairs there as well," Momcilo Mitrovic, the president of the Ivanjica municipality, told RINA.
