The mayor of Belgrade, Aleksandar Sapic, has denied allegations that he had resigned and told Vreme that he has no plans to do so.

The mayor of Belgrade, Aleksandar Sapic, does not plan to resign, despite the fact that United Serbia lost early parliamentary elections in the city and suburban municipalities.

Asked by Vreme whether it is true that he has submitted his resignation and whether he plans to, Sapic replied, "No and I do not plan to".

In recent days, after the parliamentary elections held in Serbia on Sunday, October 25, rumors appeared that Sapic had resigned. However, he has now denied these allegations.
