Serbian Army comes out with details after the downing of a drone in the Mt. Kopaonik region

The Serbian Army will continue to, in accordance with the order of the President of the Republic and the Commander-in-Chief, shoot down all drones found in the no-fly zone and in the vicinity of military facilities

In accordance with the order of President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Serbian Army Aleksandar Vucic, the Serbian Army is undertaking increased measures to detect, track and neutralize unmanned aerial vehicles found close to military facilities, said a Ministry of Defense statement issued after the downing of a drone.

The Serbian Army units have neutralized a commercial drone that was moving from the direction of Mt. Kopaonik to Raska in the afternoon hours of Wednesday, after timely undertaken monitoring and detection actions.

The drone was brought down using electronic jamming, and this happened the immediate vicinity of the Raska Garrison facilities.
