The head of Serbian diplomacy, Ivica Dacic, arrived in Brussels today, where he will participate in a working lunch of the heads of diplomacy of the European Union and the Western Balkans.

The working lunch will be held on the sidelines of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting, reports Tanjug.

Before the meeting with European and regional colleagues, Dacic met with Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament David McAllister, and in the afternoon he will also talk with EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi.

The two-day meeting of the EU Council begins today, and during the first day, the Western Balkans will be on the agenda among other issues.

The meeting will be chaired on both days by EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Josep Borrell.

On the first day, discussions about the Russian special military operation and the situation on the Horn of Africa are planned.

Other issues concern Central Asia, Tunisia and the OSCE.

The second day of the summit will be predominantly dedicated to defense issues, and the main topic will be helping Ukraine.
