The consequences of a strong storm, which hit Serbia last night, are still visible today at every step.

Trees were uprooted throughout the capital, and even roofs on some buildings got blown off.

One example is what happened in Alekse Nenadovica Street, where the storm "crumpled" a roof as if it were made of paper.

As Thursday progresses, the weather is expected to be significantly more pleasant compared to the previous heat wave days. There will be plenty of sunny spells. Maximum temperatures will range from 28 to 32°C, and it will be warmer in the south.

Later in the afternoon, more clouds are expected in the western and southwestern regions of Serbia, with local showers and thunderstorms.

Towards the end of the day and during the evening, this weather system will move across central Serbia towards the north and the province of Vojvodina.
