DJ.N. (28) and G.M. (35), both from Aleksinac, B.N. (29) from Loznica, P.J. (31) from Novi Sad, DJ.A. (44) from Zrenjanin, K.V. (39), a citizen of the Russian Federation, A.S. (41) from Smederevo, and D.I. (54) from Belgrade have been arrested within the ongoing Operation Armageddon carried out by the Serbian police.

As can be seen in the video at the top of the page, the police caught them while they were sleelping.

As Operation Armageddon continues, members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP), Directorate for Technology - Service for the Fight against High-Tech Crime, in cooperation with the police in Belgrade, Nis, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Smederevo and Sabac, and by order of the Special Public Prosecutor's Office for High-Tech Crime of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, arrested eight people on suspicion that they committed the criminal acts of displaying, obtaining and possessing pornographic material and exploiting a minor for pornography, using a computer network or communication by other technical means to commit criminal offenses against minors, and sexual harassment.

It is suspected that those arrested, for a prolonged period of time, using specialized applications for sharing files or using special browsers that enable location concealment, downloaded, saved on computer hard drives and shared content created by exploiting children for pornographic purposes.

Also, the suspects are accused of having communicated with minors using fake accounts on social networks, sending them photos and videos of pornographic content, as well as obtaining content resulting from exploitation of minors.

During the search of the suspects' apartments, a large amount of video clips and photos created by exploitation of minors for pornographic purposes, content of sexual exploitation of children aged three to 14, as well as messages containing sexual content in which the suspects sexually harassed children and minors were found, while some of those arrested are also suspected of asking minors to send them nude pictures and videos.

The suspects will be detained for up to 48 hours in police custody and then be brought to the competent prosecutor's office along with criminal complaints.
