According to unofficial information, the police, on the order of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, are arresting inspectors who abused their powers when they issued an operating permit to the Ivanovic Nursing Home in Barajevo, and then extend it.
This was done even though the facility did not meet the prescribed conditions.
A fire broke out in this nursing home last month, when eight residents died and another 13 were injured. After that, three owners were arrested, against whom the investigation is ongoing.
