After a summer-like weekend and temperatures up to 30 degrees Celsius, Serbia is expecting a turn in the weather.
A warm, but also very humid air mass from the Mediterranean is moving over our area, bringing increased instability.
There are already local showers in the north and west of Serbia this morning, while the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ) announced on its website a warning about intense showers and hailstorms across the country.
"Unstable weather today and tomorrow, with showers and thunderstorms, which may gain in intensity in some places. Today in the afternoon and evening in the area of northern, western and central Serbia, and tomorrow in other regions, some places will have larger amount of precipitation in a short time, hailstorms and strong winds," warns RHMZ.
The same applies to the territory of Belgrade, this state institution announced.
Very unstable weather is expected until Saturday, while stabilization will follow from Sunday.
