President of the National Assembly of Serbia Ana Brnabic issued a message congratulating Victory Day to all citizens.

She stressed that this great day reminds us of the price of peace and the strength of unity.
"We mark the day of victory over fascism with pride, deep respect and gratitude to all those who fought for freedom, justice and human dignity. It is our duty to preserve that freedom, and to pass on the values for which they fought - peace, dignity and solidarity - to future generations. Happy Victory Day and glory eternal to the liberators," Brnabic stated in her message.
Victory Day marks May 9, 1945, when Nazi Germany capitulated.
