Young man who committed suicide in shooting previously stabbed his grandmother, got reported by father

28-year-old S.M. committed suicide last night at a shooting range in Humska Street in Belgrade, near the Partizan stadium.

Telegraf.rs has learned that he shortly prior to this injured his grandmother with a knife.

Namely, yesterday around 2 pm, G.M. called the police and reported that his son S. M. had attacked his 83-year-old grandmother, V.M.

The woman, who had a stab wound on her face, received emergency medical help and was transported to the hospital, while the attacker escaped from the scene.

He then went to the shooting range, loaded his gun, fired several shots at a target, and then committed suicide using the same weapon.

It is suspected that the man suffered from a mental illness.
