Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic met today in the Palace of Serbia with the Austrian Federal Police chief, Michael Takacs, with whom he discussed bilateral police cooperation.

Dacic and Takacs discussed cooperation in the field of border police and the involvement of Frontex in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
They stressed the importance of cooperation in the fight against irregular migration and agreed that there is room for improvement in this area.
Also, Dacic thanked the Austrian side for the support it provides to Serbia in many areas within police cooperation, especially in combating irregular migration.
