President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said today that competent services have established the presence of three Russian citizens in the Suncana Reka camp located between Loznica and Mali Zvornik, as well as that persons of Serbian nationality who were available were detained.

Vucic said that the ethno-village Suncana Reka was used as a place for combat training of foreign citizens. According to him, that training was intended to cause unrest in Moldova.

This is what he told a press conference on Wednesday when asked if Russian services were behind a combat camp for foreigners near Loznica and if this was discussed today at his meeting with EC President Ursula von der Leyen, and added that the persons found there provided information about the persons in question and that investigation is continuing.

"Those persons are still in custody. Just as we detained 11 persons in connection with incidents in Paris and two persons in connection with incidents in Germany during a rally held by one of the opposition leaders where someone threw paint wanting to falsely accuse someone from the German authorities," said Vucic.

He said that he cannot claim that Russian services are behind the camp in Loznica, but that those persons have been detained and that the investigation is ongoing.

"That's what I can confirm, the investigation continues," said Vucic.
