Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija continue their journey on foot towards Novi Sad
A group of about 60 Serbs who have for several days now been traveling on foot from Kosovo and Metohija to Novi Sad in the north of the country left Ljig this morning, on their way to the town of Lazarevac.
The Serbs are headed to Novi Sad in order to take part in a large public rally against (anti-government) protests and blockades.
These heroes from Kosovo and Metohija are carrying Serbian flags and singing the song "Lazarica" as they march towards their goal.
Even though the weather today is not favorable, they are not giving up on their journey, and continue walking tens of kilometers each day.
The Serbs from Gracanica, Kosovsko Pomoravlja, Kosovska Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zubin Potok, Zvecan, have along the way been joined by compatriots from central Serbia - Raska, Kraljevo, Ljig, Lucani, Gornji Milanovac.
One thing is certain - together they want to send a message of unity and support for the state, and President Aleksandar Vucic, with the message that Serbia must not be made to stand still.
