President Aleksandar Vucic said last night that the authorities have for three days been trying to find two snipers who, according to intelligence data, had come to Belgrade.

Vucic also said that it is also known where the money they received came from.

"We are currently chasing two snipers in Belgrade, who we know are in the city. And we have not been able to find them for three days. I hope we will succeed, (find out) who the targets are, we'll see. So, we know that they have arrived, we also know where the money came from. I believe that the competent services will manage to solve it. So this is their (anti-government forces') only path," Vucic told TV Prva.

Vucic said that the "blockaders" are in a hurry, that they are highly nervous after the debacle (protest) on November 1 in Novi Sad.

"In the previous days and weeks, we got various security intelligence data that is not naive. We didn't even inform the public. We didn't want to speak because whatever you say, they would say that the government is intimidating people, especially before November 1 and so on," the president said, and added:

"There is only one way, there is no other, for me to accept force, violence, to accept external influence that would lead to a government change. I've no intent of doing that. There is only one way. There is no other way. They cannot shake my will. They can't beat me in elections. And they know that very well, whenever elections may be held."
