President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met today with the ambassador of the Russian Federation to Serbia, Aleksandr Botsan-Kharchenko.

In an Instagram post, Vucic stated:

"(Meeting) with Ambassador Botsan-Harchenko regarding bilateral relations, energy stability and regional challenges. We paid special attention to gas supply and conditions that ensure security, predictability of prices and further diversification of sources."

The post added: "When it comes to NIS (Petroleum Industry of Serbia) and all relevant measures and restrictions, our goal remains the same, to fully respect international obligations, while at the same time protecting energy security, jobs and investments in Serbia."

"Serbia will continue the dialogue, decisively and pragmatically, protecting the interests of its citizens. I am convinced that dialogue remains the best way to overcome the challenges and ensure a reliable energy future for our country," Vucic posted.
