Horrific accident on outskirts of Belgrade: Baby pulled out of crushed vehicle, father dies in hospital
A serious traffic accident occurred on the state road in the settlement of Boljevci, in the Belgrade municipality of Surcin, that claimed two lives - a man and his 14-month-old son.

The driver of an Audi A6, Sreten J. (27) and his son, V.J., died in the accident.
According to the first results of the investigation, the crash occurred when the Audi A6, driven by Sreten J., hit the front part of a Mercedes bus, driven by S.B.N.Y.V.V. (30).
The bus was moving in the same direction, and directly in front of the car. Due to the force of the impact, the car bounced and then hit the metal guardrail on the left side of the road.
Another passenger in the Audi, Darinka V. (23), the mother of the child who died, sustained life-threatening injuries and the doctors in Belgrade are fighting to save her life.
Ongoing investigation
The on-duty public prosecutor from the Third Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, in cooperation with police officers from the Traffic Police Administration, conducted an on-site investigation.
Afterwards, the prosecution ordered all further necessary investigative actions to be carried out, to fully determine the cause of the traffic accident.
