People spreading fire in crazy way in Omis, firefighters begging them: "Stop doing that"
The Croatian coastal town of Omis was suddenly engulfed in a hellish fire, which began to spread uncontrollably in the settlement itself. The vegetation is burning, explosions are heard, and tourists have been evacuated by boats and buses, because the fire also engulfed houses and parked cars.

The big fire broke out first in Lokva Rogoznica and quickly, carried by strong winds and aided by high temperatures, spread to the town.
And while they were running away from the fire, people were doing crazy things! In one instance, burning vehicles were still moving. The flames were moved in this way by those who were running away from the fire, but ended up spreading it. A small spark is enough to ignite another surface, let alone a car on fire!
Firefighters' chief Slavko Tucakovic spoke about this.
According to Jutarnji list, Tucakovic said that he had never seen such a firestorm in his life, and then he started criticizing people who were fleeing in their cars while the vehicles were on fire!
"By driving burning vehicles, irresponsible individuals contributed to the spread of the fire. They did not listen to instructions," said Tucakovic.
