The Davis Cup World Group 1 match between Serbia and Lithuania is scheduled for September 19 and 20 in the Cair hall in the city of Nis. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased through the Tickets.rs website and at all Tickets sales points. A daily ticket for the stands costs RSD 500. There will be no ticket sales at the Cair ticket office on the match days, September 19 and 20.

There are nine sales points in Nis and they are located in the Delfi bookstores in Delta Planet and in Obrenoviceva Street, three Hijeroglif bookstores, 1, 5 and 8, in Vozda Karadjordja, on Kralja Milana and Pavla Stojkovica squares, in Indigo bookstore in Obrenoviceva Street, in Meridian Nis01 in TC Kalca, as well as at OMV Nis 1 and 2 gas stations in Dimitrija Tucovica and 12. Februara boulevards.

On Saturday, September 19, two singles matches will be played, and the first player will play against the second player from both national teams. Three matches are scheduled for Sunday, September 20. The doubles teams will be the first to take the court, followed by the best singles players from both national teams.

The Tennis Asociation of Serbia, TSS, said this in a statement, adding that there is a possibility that Novak Djokovic will come to Nis and "lead our team to victory".

That information is interesting because Djokovic would have to travel to the south of Serbia practically directly from New York City. The US Open starts soon where he is chasing his 25th Grand Slam title, so we will see if he can make it all work.

"The Serbian national Davis Cup team is returning to the place of success after last year's triumph over Turkey, and will play with the strongest current lineup," the TSS said, and concluded:

"Head coach Viktor Troicki chooses the best from Novak Djokovic, the best player of all time, Miomir Kecmanovic, the steadiest member of the team, Hamad Medjedovic, a guy who is becoming a threat to the best in the world, and there are the experienced Dusan Lajovic and Laslo Djere, as well as the young up-and-comers, Branko Djuric and Ognjen Milic. With the doubles specialist, new Top 100 member Stefan Latinovic and the Saban brothers, Serbia has a great team. From Nis, you can see the conclusion of the Davis Cup and the fight for the trophy in 2027. So come and celebrate together, (as Serbia plays) against the young and energetic team of Lithuania."
