Vucic speaks in New York to announce big rally in Belgrade

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has announced that another rally will be held in Belgrade, but also that there will be gatherings throughout Serbia.

"I call on the people to unite and defeat the great evil that looms over Serbia. I will work day and night and we will defeat them more convincingly than they expect," Vucic said in a post on Instagram.

"Dear citizens, it's very important to be calm, tolerant, patient, and don't worry about the horrible things that the blockaders are saying. The fact that they attack women, that they threaten with rape and everything else, is the only thing so far they have shown they can do. Just calmly, calmly, slowly gather, unite, and we will defeat every kind of evil that has come over Serbia. And that is why we need to work more, to fight more, and I promise you from Monday morning, when I hand over the duties of the president of the Republic, every day I will be with you, in almost all cities and villages of Serbia, to fight until we finally defeat them," said Vucic and concluded:

"The first big rally will be in Belgrade, on October 3, and the final (before elections) will be in Nis, because I really want to beat them in the south and southeast of Serbia most convincingly. Of course, we will also have the biggest rally ever seen, in Vojvodina in the north of Serbia, in Novi Sad, and in Kragujevac. Thank you for everything, and sorry that I am in New York these 3-4 days, but here I am fighting for you, for us, for Serbia, for our fatherland, and we are going to defeat them more convincingly than they expect".
