The Information Service of Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic has announced that there is no official information about Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's arrival in that country on Monday, Christmas Eve.

"We have no official announcement about the private arrival of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Montenegro. Accordingly, we have no comment for now," the Information Service of the president of Montenegro has announced.

As has been confirmed for Tanjug in the cabinet of the president of Serbia, Vucic will spend Christmas Day (January 7) with Serbs, Orthodox believers in northern Montenegro.

He will attend the burning of the badnjak (oak log) and thus demonstrate that it will be "an opportunity to once again show the unity of the Serb people in preserving Serb shrines and the Serb Church."

The president of Serbia received the blessing from Patriarch Irinej for this, during their recent conversation at the Patriarchate in Belgrade.
