Dodik said that time will show how serious the Serb Republic (Republika Srpska, RS) is in that intention

Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Milorad Dodik said today that the RS has embarked on a path to exit BiH, from which there is no return.

"We will do this and we will not be stopped by the US or anyone else, because we believe that the Dayton Agreement has been toppled, above all through the intervention of the international factor," Dodik told reporters in East Sarajevo.

Time, he stressed, will show how serious the RS is in that intention, adding that the Serb entity has a choice between two things, one of which is to allow itself to quietly disappear and be destroyed through a "lethal" package concocted by the international community and the Bosniak side in Sarajevo.

"In the first phase that was realized through the high representative and the imposition of decisions, and now they are doing it through the Constitutional Court, while striving to protect it behind the story about the rule of law. If this was about the rule of law, three foreigners and embassies would not be making decisions here," Dodik said, RS Radio and Television reported.

He added that the second option is for the RS to do "what it has to do."

"I want everyone in the RS to know - we've been driven to the wall, and now we have to decide whether to accept these false US and Western embassy platitudes keeping us inside some story about some principles, while essentially undermining our rights - or for the RS to do what it has to do," Dodik said.

He stressed that neither he nor anyone else has the right to forget the fact that 29,000 people died for the RS and for its citizens' freedom.

"This is something that must be a pledge of the survival of the RS," he said.

He reiterated that the RS cannot believe in BiH.

"BiH is a bad place and a place of no freedom for Serbs and the RS. Unless there is agreement for foreigners to leave the Constitutional Court and for it to function like in all other countries, then there is no BiH. Let them keep that in mind," said the Serb member of the BiH Presidency.
