Kosovo government falls: Kurti is no longer prime minister
82 MPs voted against the government, 32 were in favor, one abstained
The Kosovo government fell last tonight, and Albin Kurti is no longer the prime minister.
According to Pristina-based Gazeta, after the debate, MPs passed a vote of no confidence against Kurti. 82 MPs voted against the government, 32 were in favor, one abstained.
The no-confidence motion against the Kurti government was launched by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), a member of the ruling coalition, led by Isa Mustafa.
Three LDK deputies opposed the fall of the government.
The Kurti government collapsed on the 50th day in power, and this has been the shortest time in office of a Pristina government.
