Famed basketball coach Dusko Vujosevic has stood in defense of Novak Djokovic, who is under attack by the world media for his position to consider whether to accept vaccination against coronavirus.

Djokovic has responded to the criticism, while the legendary Partizan basketball club coach did not forget the tennis giant's nice gesture towards made in the past.

"In my opinion, Novak is the best thing Serbia has right now. This is about a man who is not a doctor of medicine but is a doctor of honor and heroism. Just look at his move when he gives aid to Bergamo, what it feels like to be noble for the moment and for the act. I know that he is very much engaged in exploring a healthy lifestyle and that he is applying it. I remember when he messaged me the first time I was in the hospital because of kidney problems. He was playing a tournament in Australia, and he was sending me messages suggesting diets that could help me," Vujosevic revealed in an interview for the website Direktno.

Djokovic has donated large sums of money to Serbia and to Bergamo in Italy, and in his latest Instagram broadcast, revealed how he felt about the criticism he has received.

In addition, Novak made a number of interesting observations about the alternative history of Serbia.
