Although a state of emergency and curfew are no longer in force in Serbia, that does not mean that we should ruin everything we have achieved so far in the fight against the spread of coronavirus. Shopping malls, as the last in a series of businesses and services that are reopening, will do so today, May 8 - but with the obligatory observance of certain rules, by both buyers and sellers.

In the future, the number of people in shopping malls will be limited in order to comply with the social distancing measure, while disinfection of premises will be intensified, especially around the cash register, i.e., those areas that people most often touch, and where cash is present.

Shopping malls are also under obligation to comply with the following: they must not use central air conditioning, because it increases the risk of virus transmission. In addition, both sellers and buyers are required to wear protective equipment, gloves and face masks.

The shopping experience will certainly not be the same any longer, because we are used to crowds in shopping centers, "bumping into people," trying out a lot of things, especially on weekends.

In the malls across the country, a thorough cleaning of all rooms, corridors, elevators and garages has been done, so that everything is ready for shoppersto return today after a long break.

Security at the entrance of shopping malls will be making sure there are not too many people inside at any given moment, and in addition, each store is under obligation to pay attention to the number of people entering, as well as whether customers and employees respect the prescribed measures.

It remains to be seen what all this will look like in the coming days.
