A plan has been made for the formation of a joint industrial zone in the border area of Serbia and BiH (Bosnia and Herzegovina), it was announced today after the meeting of the two delegations.

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic announced that ot especially concerned places in Serbia and the Serb Republic (RS, BiH entity): Ljubovija and Bratunac, Mali Zvornik and Zvornik, as well as to see what else can be done on the stretch between Sremska Raca, Dvorovi and Bijeljina.

Vucic stressed that Serbia will work together with the RS on the construction of 17 kilometers of a highway from the bridge over the Sava to the border near Bijeljina.

According to Vucic, the meeting also discussed the support for young people in agricultural production and that this would go up to 12,500 euros, especially for the development of primary production and processing capacities.

He added that they spoke about support to small companies, which would receive 45 percent of grant funds, which would be provided jointly by the RS and mostly by Serbia, while 5 percent would be participation, and 50 percent would be provided through bank loans..

"It's important that companies managed and owned by the state of Serbia have the right to participate in tenders in BiH, and some have already been announced," he said.

Vucic stressed that one of the most important topics was discussed during the meeting, and that is the construction of the airport in Trebinje, which Serbia wants to to own and manage.

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic met today with the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH Milorad Dodik, President of the RS Zeljka Cvijanovic, and the RS Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic.
