Killers planted C4 explosive under Strahinja's SUV? "Device from hell" was hidden under the seat

Initial analyses of the explosive that was planted under the car indicate that plastic P500, better known as C-4 explosive, was likely used in the liquidation of Strahinja Stojanovic. The remains of the SUV indicate the same, because in recent years either this explosive or TNT has been used in mafia showdowns in the streets of Belgrade.

"If a stronger explosive had been planted, the destruction of the vehicle itself would have been far greater, and the passengers would certainly not have survived," said a source from the investigation, Novosti writes.

In this case, the "device from hell" is placed directly under the driver's seat, and was activated remotely.

Sinisa Milic Boske, the chief operative of the clan of Luka Bojovic and Filip Korac, was blown up in a similar way.

How was Stojanovic located?

Operational data from the police indicate that those who were preparing Stojanovic's liquidation most likely located him through an account on social networks of a Colombian woman, Sonja Suarez Gomez, who was inseparable from him in the last six months. She is very active on Instagram where she has a public profile, and where she posted photos showing her with the victim, Stojanovic.

The two of them stayed on Zlatibor and Kopaonik this summer, and she recorded and published locations where they were at the time, which probably made the job of the executors easier.

Otherwise, according to the police, the Colombian arrived in our country half a year ago, just before the beginning of the coronavirus state of emergency, after which she did not leave Serbia.

It's lucky that none of the passers-by who found themselves in Omladinskih Brigada Street at the time of the explosion got injured. The detonation happened only a few meters from a bus stop, while the sidewalks next to this New Belgrade street were crowded with people on Saturday around noon when the incident happened.

Stojanovic was alive for a short time after the explosion, but later passed away.

He found himself behind bars several times in the past for serious criminal acts, and was convicted for extortion and weapons.
