The Crisis HQ set up to combat coronavirus will meet tomorrow in the Palace of Serbia, Telegraf.rs has learned. The session, during which the deteriorated epidemiological situation in the country will be urgently analyzed, will begin at 9 am.

As we have learned, HQ members will consider all options that should be taken in order to calm the situation in the country, and prevent the further spread of the virus.

According to our source from the HQ, serious consideration will be given to requiring a negative PCR or a serological test which proves the presence of coronavirus IgG antibodies, from persons entering our country.

"The goal is to strengthen border control," says our source.

The source added that a demand will be made to introduce even stricter control of hospitality establishments.

The number new cases is expected to exceed 400 today. Last night, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic told RTS  that there had been 400 new cases by 8 pm yesterday.

Today's number could be a record in this the third wave, and possibly also since the beginning of the epidemic.

So far, coronavirus has been confirmed in 36,608 people in Serbia, out of 1,249,106 tested. Covid 19 has taken 780 lives in our country.
