The Football Federation of Serbia has been fined 20,000 euros, while the head coach of the national team Ljubisa Tumbakovic has been suspended for one game in UEFA competitions due to the Serbian national team members being late to the kick-off of the League of Nations match against Hungary.

The team suffered 0-1 defeat in that game played in Belgrade in October, and a month later they received a fine from UEFA after its officials reported our national team.

The explanation of the decision on the UEFA website states that Tumbakovic is the one most responsible for footballers being late and that he will have to sit out one game.

The only thing that has not been announced is whether the Serbian head coach will be suspended during the current League of Nations, or in the playoff game for the European Championship against Scotland, to be played on November 12 in Belgrade, which also resulted from this competition, but in the previous cycle.

In addition to the suspension, Tumbakovic must pay 5,000 euros, while he and the FSS have 90 days to pay their fines.

This Monday, the Serbian head coach will announce the list of football players for the upcoming clash with Scotland, as well as for the League of Nations matches.

Another problem for Tumbakovic is the news that Filip Djuricic allegedly has coronavirus.
