The Serbian Film Association previously published its online "Guide to Film Locations" which brings together all the collected creative and logistical knowledge about these locations. The Serbian Film Association has been active since 2009. It is an independent association of the film industry and film workers in Serbia. It brings together leading professionals in production and post-production working on feature films, TV commercials, television projects and projects in the field of computer graphics and animation. Today, the association includes trusted partners in the business and tourism sectors. Together they form the entire chain of services within the audio-visual industry.

Zrenjanin has had the "Film Friendly" certificate for several years, which means that the city has created an environment conducive to the film industry. It also means that Zrenjanin introduced the prescribed procedure and price list for issuing permits for filming, as well as that it formed a database of locations over which the city has jurisdiction, and which are realistically available to film productions.

A film about Toma Zdravkovic was shot this summer

Recently, numerous films and TV series have been shot in Zrenjanin and its surroundings, such as Konji Vrani (Black Horses), Hadersfild, Senke nad Balkanom (Shadows over the Balkans)... Scenes from the very popular foreign series Mission X, which was broadcast on the Epic Drama channel, were shot on the rail and road bridge over the Tamis River, near Orlovat. This bridge was used for filming scenes from the Second World War, for jumping off the bridge, as well as for some other shots that appear at the very beginning of the popular series.

This summer, a team from a new domestic film and series about the legendary folk music singer Toma Zdravkovic was in the town on the Begej. The producers of this project, in which the main role is played by young actor Milan Maric, are actor and director Dragan Bjelogrlic and singer Zeljko Joksimovic. The shots for the film were shot on the Small (Mali) Bridge and in Gimnazijska Street.

Also last summer, the film "Na Margini" ("On the Margin") was shot in the central square. This is the graduation thesis of a graduate student of the Academy of Arts in Belgrade, young director Jovan Dopudj.
