Coronavirus confirmed in almost 3,000 more people in Serbia, 39 more patients die

In the last 24 hours coronavirus was confirmed in 2,715 people in Serbia, while 39 patients died during the same time.

11,202 people were tested, of which 24.24 percent were positive for Covid 19.

There are 259 patients on ventilators.

Most of the new cases in the previous 24 hours were again in Belgrade, where the virus was confirmed in 699 more people.

In second place is Novi Sad with 265, followed by Nis, where the virus was diagnosed in 131 people.

In fourth place is Kragujevac with 87, followed by Pancevo with 65, then Kraljevo with 57, the same as as Sabac, and then Vranje with 50.

In Sremska Mitrovica, the virus was confirmed in 47 people, in Subotica in 41, in Zrenjanin in 34, in Valjevo in 33, and in Cacak, Uzice, Aleksinac and Smederevo in 31 each, while in Loznica and Jagodina there were 30 new cases in each.

In the last 24 hours the virus was confirmed in 27 people in Krusevac, in Leskovac in 26, in Prokuplje in 25, in Stara Pazova in 22, in Smedervska Palanka in 21, while in Kovin and Velika Plana each, 20 samples came back positive positive for Covid 19.

In other towns, there were fewer than 20 new cases.
