1,739 new coronavirus cases in Serbia, 18 patients die: 145 are on ventilators

According to the latest data regarding coronavirus in Serbia, 1,739 more people became infected in the last 24 hours, as 18 patients died.

10,471 people have been tested.

There are 145 patients are on ventilators.

A total of 2,627,944 people who met the criteria for defining a case have been tested for coronavirus in the Republic of Serbia by 3 pm.

The total number of deaths is 4,038.

Out of the 1,739 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Serbia in the last 24 hours, the majority were in Belgrade - 485.

There were 103 new cases in Novi Sad, while other towns reported new cases in the double digits.

There were 76 registered in Nis, 58 in Kragujevac, and 42 Kraljevo and Uzice each.

Vranje had 39 new cases, Sabac 38, Krusevac 36, Subotica 32 and Jagodina and Zrenjanin 26 each.

22 new cases were registered in Zajecar, and 20 in Velika Plana.
