Late scorer in Red Star v Milan, Pavkov, as new patriarch; holding Ibra and Mandzukic like babies

Milan Pavkov was once again the hero of Red Star! When he retires and is an elderly man, he will have some stories to tell to his grandchildren, even if he never plays another game in his career!

He scored twice against Liverpool in the past and effectively sigle-handedly defeated the six-time European champions, he scored against the eternal city rivals Partizan FC, played a heroic game against Salzburg when he led the turning around of the match that would take Red Star to the Champions League group stage for the first time - and now Red Star fans are celebrating him again after his late equalizer against Milan that came in the 93rd minute, to see a 10-man Red Star draw 2-2 against the Italian side.

Red Star fans have been singing Pavkov's praises since the match against Liverpool, and he experienced something that many of the club's footballers can only dream of: the whole stadium chanting to him. There are two different chants that the club's fans, known as Delije, sing just to him, and his feats have even been sung about in a gusle (ancient musical instrument) performance, which has once again become a hit.

Social networks are now on fire after Pavkov's goal, with some old mimes "reactivated" and some new ones appearing online.

Since the game was played on the same day when the new patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church was elected, some folk went as far as to "proclaim" Pavkov the new patriarch in their memes.

A number of social media users brought back of some old photos of Pavkov, while some photo edits add Milan keeper Donnarumma to Liverpool's Alisson, and in others Pavkov holds Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Manzukic like babies in his arms.
