Sladjan Antic from Vranje has received two doses of coronavirus vaccines produced by two different manufacturers. As he has told the InfoVranjske portal, he first received the Pfizer one, and then got revaccinated with the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.

During the summer, Antic was hospitalized for two weeks due to coronavirus complications, and on the advice of his doctor, he decided to receive the vaccine, which he did on January 28. The first dose was manufactured by Pfizer.

"Everything went as expected, I received a text from the e-government (portal) to report to the revaccination hall, they stated the time. I go there, hand in my vaccination card and wait. I go to booth number 3 and talk to the doctor there. In the meantime, the nurse appears, I take off my sweatshirt, she administers the vaccine and that's it," says Antic.

He then continued the conversation with the doctor and at one point, in a well-meaning manner, the doctor told him not to worry because the Chinese vaccine provides good protection.

"I ask, how come it was Chinese?!, and there's general confusion. They say that Pfizer is not administered in the hall. From there, they send me to the Healthcare Center and they don't know what to do there either, and in the end they send me to the Institute of Public Health, where Dr. Goran Ristic receives me, asks how I'm doing, calls Batut (institute in Belgrade) and that's it," says this Vranje man.

He claims that he is not feeling well, and that he is experiencing an indescribable sensation, as if his whole body is consumed with tingles.

"I had to go to the PTO and people were surprised there, but they gave me some therapy. Since then, I have had frequent reactions and, simply, I am not well," concludes Antic, who will reportedly seek justice in court.

Director of the Vranje Healthcare Center Dr. Ljiljana Antic has told Telegraf.rs that this probably happened because he went to the wrong booth.

"But there should be no consequences. In that regard, we have also consulted with immunologist Srdja Jankovic," she said and added that it is the man's right to sue.

As we have learned, a commission has been formed to investigate all the circumstances of this event.

State Secretary in the Ministry of Health Mirsad Djerlek told TV Prva that the Ministry will conduct both internal and external expert checks, and that the persons who vaccinated Antic will be "severely" sanctioned in this way.
