Mihajlovic on Lecic: Instead of hiding, he plays the role of unscrupulous bully on social networks

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Coordination Body for Gender Equality Professor Dr. Zorana Mihajlovic reacted to the latest statements made by actor and director Branislav Lecic regarding the case of the rape of actress Danijela Stajnfeld.

"Instead of crawling into a mouse hole out of shame, disgrace and dishonor, Lecic is playing the role that seems to suit him best on social networks - that of an unscrupulous bully.

But various Lecics, Aleksics, and the like are not important, it is important that the society has started to react, that women are encouraged to speak out and report the perpetrators who made their lives awful. The time has come for abusers and bullies, not women, to tremble with fear.

Instead of you asking, 'do you know who I am', we ask you who do you, the various Lecics, think you are, to have the right to endanger women and their integrity. That time has passed, the Serbian society is maturing and it is saying clearly: bullies, you will not get away with it," said Mihajlovic.
