Latest Covid figures ahead of Crisis HQ meting: 39 deaths, 4,826 new cases in 24 hours

Coronavirus was confirmed in 4,826 more people in Serbia in the last 24 hours, as 39 more patients died from Covid.

7,641 people are currently hospitalized, of which 299 are on ventilators.

16,910 people were tested in the past 24 hours, of which 28.54 percent were positive.

Most new daily cases are still registered in Belgrade - 1,185, followed by Nis with 252 and Novi Sad with 247. This is the number of new cases in other towns: Kraljevo - 135, Pancevo - 103, Kragujevac - 99, Vranje - 84, Sabac - 82, Subotica - 80, Smederevo - 76, Uzice - 69, Novi Pazar - 65, Zrenjanin 65, Leskovac - 62, Cacak - 60, Becej - 51, Stara Pazova and Kikinda 50 each.

2,521,863 people in Serbia have so far received the first dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while 1,063,559 have received the second dose.

A total of 3,458,046 people have been tested in Serbia so far, of which 610,232 tested positive for coronavirus.

The Covid death toll currently stands at 5,384.
