A man, 39, who threatened to jump off a building this morning, and then made cuts to his wrists and stomach, is on hormone therapy as part of the gender change he is undergoing, Telegraf.rs has learned.

As we have been told, he tried to kill himself after an argument with his girlfriend who told him she was pregnant.

With the help of a hydraulic tool, the firefighters opened the front door of the apartment and found a person with slashed veins on his wrists inside.

He was transported to the Emergency Center.

"After an argument with his girlfriend, the man threatened to jump off the balcony on the eighth floor. The police and firefighters immediately went to the scene. With the approval of the Prosecution, the police entered the apartment, where they found a man with severed veins. A suicide attempt was prevented last minute," we have been told.

The firefighters had preventively placed an airbag under the building.
