As Palestinians fired grenades at Tel Aviv, Maccabi striker Aleksandar Pesic, 28, a Serbian, watched these scenes of war from his window.

And he recorded them on his mobile phone, and posted on his Instagram profile.

"It's not all the same. Honestly, it got really serious. It is not easy to watch all this," Pesic told B92.net.

The native of Nis also revealed that about ten days ago he sent his family members back to Serbia and that the situation is easier on him now in that sense, because he does not have to fear for them.

However, he says that the general situation in Tel Aviv is very worrying.

"I hope it passes as soon as possible. I've already been fleeing to shelters, I don't want to do it any more, honestly," the former Red Star striker added.

Pesic has been living in Israel since October, when he became a Maccabi player.
