"Peace, stability and military neutrality": Serbia states its position at EU Military Committee

The meeting discussed the contribution of partner countries to training missions and operations of the European Union, in which members of the Serbian Army also participate to a significant degree

Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army General Milan Mojsilovic today attended the meeting of the Military Committee of the European Union held in Brussels at the level of chiefs of stff.

The meeting discussed the contribution of partner countries to training missions and operations of the European Union, in which members of the Serbian Army also participate to a significant degree.

During his two-day visit to Brussels, General Mojsilovic had a separate meeting with the chairman of the European Union Military Committee, General Claudio Graziano, with whom he discussed the deployment of Serbian Army members in multinational operations under EU mandate.

On the sidelines of the meeting of the EU Military Committee, the chief of the general staff met with Chief of the Cypriot National Guard Lieutenant General Dimokritos Zervakis, and Chief of the General Staff of the National Defense of Greece General Konstantinos Floros.

During the talks, General Mojsilovic stressed Serbia's strong commitment to, as a militarily neutral state, preserve peace and stability in the region and the world, and its readiness to further improve military cooperation in areas of common interest with Cyprus and Greece.
