8,171 new coronavirus cases in Serbia in 24 hours, 45 more patients die: 243 are on ventilators

Coronavirus was confirmed in 8,171 people in the last 24 hours, and at the same time 45 patients died from the consequences of Covid in Serbia.

24,847 people got tested.

243 patients are on ventilators.

Currently, 6,241 people are hospitalized with Covid.

New cases by city: 2,099 in Belgrade, 456 in Novi Sad, 283 in Nis, 246 in Kragujevac, 159 in Leskovac, 156 in Kraljevo, 154 in Sabac, 146 in Smederevo, 135 in Krusevac, 129 in Pancevo, 111 in Cacak, 108 in Valjevo, 108 in Subotica, 107 in Novi Pazar.

Uzice had 106, Loznica 104, Zrenjanin 102, Prokuplje 90, Vranje 89, Zajecar 81, Pirot 80.

Other towns had fewer than 80 new cases.

The total number of registered Covid cases since the beginning of the epidemic in Serbia is 934,440.

The total number of people who got tested since beginning of the epidemic is 5,626,417.

A total of 8,187 people have died.

The mortality rate is 0.88%.
