Customs officers found 28 illegal migrants on a bus near Nis, the Customs Administration announced today and added that the police were informed about the case and took the migrants over for further jurisdiction.

The case was discovered yesterday when a bus with Belgrade license plates, which was traveling on the Dimitrovgrad-Belgrade route, was stopped on the E75 highway near the Nais hotel at around 04:45, for extraordinary customs control.

In one of the bags in the trunk, several new men's jackets and a dozen sweatshirts of the Boss brand were found, without any accompanying documentation.

A misdemeanor procedure was initiated against the passenger who said he was the owner of the clothes.
