SDA leader Bakir Izetbegovic has said that BiH (Bosnia and Herzegovina) is not in the focus of the international community, because there are other and much more dangerous hotspots, and expressed hope that this will not be the case in the future either and that it will not have to intervene in BiH.

"That readiness is rising, we see the reactions of Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, America. The Islamic world has not yet risen, they also have their problems, but if necessary, they will be there for us," Izetbegovic stressed while appearing on TV BIR.

Commenting on messages coming from Hungary, whose Prime Minister Viktor Orban allegedly said that "the problem will be the integration of two million Muslims from BiH into the EU" Izetbegovic said that he did not believe that a Hungarian government spokesman could say such things without being authorized or at least without attending events where such attitudes towards Muslims were established.

"For us Muslims, the system of values that Orban advocates, that kind of European nationalism, is unclear. Bosniaks are a European people. Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the oldest countries in Europe, while the Hungarians came from the Urals, from Asia. But, no matter, in the end we are all equal and equal people," said Izetbegovic.

He added that Orban and the people around him forget that "European civilizations and cultures would not exist without the component introduced by Muslims."

Commenting on the alleged note of the EU Delegation to BiH, which leaves six months until the adoption of a law previously agreed on between Milorad Dodik and European Commissioner for Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi, Izetbegovic said he expects denials or explanations from Ambassador Sattler and Varhelyi himself.

"It is convincing to me because diplomats function in that way. The only thing that can stop this Dodik's policy are sanctions," said Izetbegovic.
