Lawyer Toma Fila's advice to Djokovic on what his next legal move should be

In the case of Novak Djokovic, Australia has shown its sadism as a state, Toma Fila, a lawyer, claims in a statement for Telegraf.rs.

According to Fila, Novak would not have gone to the tournament if he had not been issued a visa.

"They invited him and he had a visa to enter the country. How sadistic they are is evident in the fact that they kept him in a hotel that serves as a prison for 11 days and took away his phone. He was treated like a migrant who arrived from Africa to Australia in a rubber dinghy," Fila said with indignation, and added that during all that time, our tennis player had to hire ex officio layers and set aside a large sum of money for them - 500,000 euros. His own legal team is not included in that figure.

"I would advise Novak and his team to appeal the (deportation) verdict, because no decision is a one-instance decision. I am afraid that Novak will be prevented from competing at Wimbledon and the French Open," says Fila.

According to him, the authorities in Australia have shown their sadism towards Novak for two reasons - the upcoming elections there, but also a huge number of infected people.

"I think if this was a richer and bigger country, they would not have treated a tennis player like Novak in that way."
