The world's best tennis player Novak Djokovic returned to Serbia after the disgraceful treatment he received in Australia, from where he was eventually deported for no good reason, thus preventing him from defending his Australian Open title.

After arriving in Belgrade, Novak decided not to speak to the media, and to focus on himself and his family after everything he went through in Melbourne.

However, on Orthodox Epiphany, a great Christian holiday, Novak decided to appear in the Ruzica Church on the Kalemegdan Fortress in Belgrade, where he attended liturgy.

According to the daily Informer, those gathered were surprised to see Novak, who also got photographed with a fan.

Take a look at the gallery to see the photo of the fan with Novak, as well as some previous photos of the athlete attending liturgy in Belgrade.
